We view ourselves as Tax Consultants and not Tax Preparers. Our job is not to just prepare your taxes but to help you in making decisions.

Not too long ago, one of the national tax preparation companies had a marketing campaign stating that people who go to that company don't need to worry that much in regards to taxes because the tax payer "has people," unlike people who do their own taxes. The problem with this is that most of the preparers at these national chains only work from February through April 15. If you have a tax problem during another time of the year, when most IRS letters are received, the chances of the person you talk with at the preperation company knowing your personal situation is slim. The same thing is true if you have a tax related question.

With us, we are always available. One of us is usually in the office Monday through Friday durring the off season.

We are also committed to keeping up with the ever changing tax laws through continuing education. As a member of then National Association of Enrolled Agents, Ron is required to complete at least 30 hours of Continuing Professional Education per year with at least 2 of those hours being in Ethics.
